HI, I'M KAHLIA. The calm in the chaos. I'm a warm, compassionate Civil Celebrant who believes every person deserves a farewell that's as unique as the life they lived. I've been a professional celebrant since 2019, but it wasn't until I was asked to officiate the funeral of a close family friend in 2020 that I truly found where I was meant to be.

Supporting that family through one of the hardest times of their lives changed me.

To be trusted with their stories, their tears, their laughter and their memories was an incredible privilege.

Together, we created a farewell that honoured a remarkable life, and in that moment I realised this was more than something I could do. This is something I was called to do.

THIS IS not a role I take lightly. It's not a time for me to stand in front of your family and friends and speak about your loved one as if I knew them, because chances are I didn't, and  I won't pretend that I did. However, I will listen to every story you want to tell.

The little moments that made your person exactly who they were.

Together, we'll weave those memories into a ceremony that feels authentic, comforting and unmistakably them.

A ceremony where, even for just a little while, the heaviness lifts and you're reminded how incredibly lucky you were to have loved them.
